Government Blockchain Association/Blockchain Academy Scholarship Program: 1000 Scholarships valued at $5000 education and certification scholarships towards two programs, Blockchain Foundations and Crypto Training Course and Simulator.

• Blockchain is technology used for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency; however, its applications and use cases go far beyond financial transactions.

• Online live instruction and on-demand blockchain courses include technical and non-technical learning for general, entrepreneur, and professional audiences.

• Learn blockchain governance, specific industry impact, Ethereum, EOS, Corda, and Hyperledger Fabric blockchain, gain hands-on skills, and advanced career training for a lucrative career in blockchain innovation.

• This partnership provides 1,000 NBCC members 100% scholarship toward blockchain education and certification from the Blockchain Certification Association. 

• Members completing the initial program are eligible for advanced blockchain education and training in blockchain business strategy, project management, and blockchain development. 

• Upon competition of the 6 weeks online educational training a certificate certified their competency, qualifying them for a job starting at $150,000.  This partnership in brings skills and industry-recognized certifications necessary to compete in this emerging technology market.

• The benefits of this new partnership include:

  • 1,000 education and certification scholarships towards two programs, Blockchain Foundations and Crypto Training Course and Simulator.

  • Members receive a 30% discount on advanced training and additional discounts with programs offered at Universities.

  • A coalition of NBCC, The American Dream Fund, The Blockchain Academy, Colleges, and Universities will pursue larger education and workforce grant opportunities from the Department of Labor and Department of Commerce to the benefit of black business.
