Our Goal is to economically empower and sustain Overburden, Underserved, Socially Disadvantaged, Low-to-Moderate Income, Distressed communities through entrepreneurship, established access to capitalization, and thru capitalization created generational wealth, and increase business and home ownership. We achieve this by providing access to valuable resources, education, funding, discounts, and partnership that will establish and grow business, and employment.

BCDCCA Services we offer

 

  • Access to Capital / Grants, ( ADM and NBCC already have grants and loans identified)

  • Building a statewide database of Black business owners / Entrepreneurs / etc.

    • Assist Arkansas 450 black farmers

    • Work with The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s Small Farm Program

    • Work with the following Arkansas’ Top Retailers, Producers and Processors to provide more business opportunities for Arkansas Black Farmers;

      • Wal-Mart: the largest food retailer in the world.

      • Tyson Foods: the largest poultry and meat processor in the U.S.

      • Riceland Foods: the largest rice exporter in the U.S.

SERVICES OFFERED

 

 

  • Promote the development of Overburden, Underserved, Socially Disadvantaged, Low-to-Moderate Income, Distressed  business and citizens who may have a desire to start a business or need help growing their business or purchase a home.  

  • Provide access to job skill training / education, some free others grants are provided, where Certificates and college credits are provided. These job skills, include technical skills   

  • Identity new Grants, loans and money for people, to enable Overburden, Underserved, Socially Disadvantaged, Low-to-Moderate Income, Distressed people to obtain these monies, that would be used to enable Business and home ownership and improvements to existing business, and homes.

  • Partner with corporations, government agencies and local municipalities on starting an internship and recruitment program for Black and African American  

  • We have a long working relationship with the National Black Chamber of Commerce and will establish working partnership with other Corporate Philanthropy, Charitable Foundation, Educational Institutes, Healthcare Organizations, Municipalities, State and Federal Government agencies, Other Chambers of commerce, and various business

  • Our Plan is to improve and enhance our working relationship with these established organizations and to continually obtain knowledge, skills, and expertise that will enable the successful completion of our targeted goals and hopefully exceed those targeted goals 

  • Assist in completing documentation, provide technical support and guidance to our members for responding to RFPs, finding capital, marketing, contract negotiations and accessing opportunities that would help them start a business, enable their existing business grow, or purchase a home.

  • Workshops for community residents on financial literacy, resume preparation, interview skills, etc.

  • Develop new training and education programs, and seminars to help our people sustain their business model, and obtain Trade, Certification in Information Technology, Healthcare, Etc.  

  • Mentoring and support for students, ex‐offenders and tenants in public housing

BCDCCA will provide the following benefits

  • Establish City, State of Arkansas and Federal programs that will provide information, access, and resources to enable  Overburden, Underserved, Socially Disadvantaged, Low-to-Moderate Income, Distressed to achieve our goals

  • Improve opportunities for students, ex‐offenders and tenants in public housing through mentoring, training, and employment.

  • Our plan is continue working with these established organizations and obtain information and best practices to enhance the success of our organization.
