BCDCCA Member Statement
The purpose of the Chamber shall be to enable, and inform the African American communities’ capitalism and establish access to capitalization, and thru capitalization create generational wealth, and increase African American businesses, and home ownerships, and provide various mediums of communication to educate our message and perform charitable purposes to achieve our goal. The Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas shall achieve this goal, with technical support, procurement processes, networking, and distribution of information to Black owned businesses as the African American community. The main vehicle of disseminating information concerning this purpose is through the Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas website, various medium of communication, informative pamphlets and the African American community, through electronic communication and mass marketing. Each step and task is directed by our Strategic, Tactical, and Operational plans. The Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas is nonprofit, and shall operate exclusively and abides by the rules And meaning of Section 501 (c)(6) and 501(c)(3) ez of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code
The Black Community development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas is not organized and shall not be operated for the private gain of any person. The property of the corporation is irrevocably dedicated to enable, and inform the African American communities’ capitalism and establish access to capitalization, and provide various mediums of communication to educate our message and perform charitable purposes to achieve our goal. No part of the assets, receipts, or net earnings of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributed to any individual. The corporation may, however, pay reasonable compensation for services rendered, and make other payments and distributions consistent with these Articles.
BCDCCA members must follow the following BCDCCA Code of Ethnical Guidelines

Respect the opinions of fellow BCDCCA members and support the actions of the BCDCCA board and Officers.

Be a positive representative for the association, even outside of BCDCCA activities

Make it a priority to attend at all BCDCCA meetings

Display courteous conduct with staff, speakers, and fellow BCDCCA members

Be prepared for each BCDCCA meeting by reading all background materials

Adhere to the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior.

Measure the effectiveness of our programs in contributing to or achieving organizational goals.

DUTY OF CARE
Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas members owes the duty to exercise reasonable care when he or she makes a decision as a steward of the organization.
DUTY OF LOYALTY
Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas members can never use information obtained as a member for personal gain, but must act in the best interests of the organization.
DUTY OF OBEDIENCE
Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas members must and will obey the law and the organization’s internal rules and regulations, and never speak negatively about the Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas members it’s personnel and board members

At the Black Community Development and Chamber of Commerce of Arkansas (BCDCCA), we serve as the principal advocate and the preeminent leader in fostering economic success for Underserved, Overburdened, Socially Disadvantaged, Low-to-Moderate Income, and Distressed–owned businesses and communities across our state. Our mission is to catalyze growth, bridge resources, and elevate opportunities so that every entrepreneur, student, nonprofit, and public institution can take part in Arkansas’s prosperous future.
By uniting diverse stakeholders—businesses, nonprofits, educational institutions, students, and government agencies—we believe we can ignite transformative change. Each membership package has a suggested contribution, and we encourage members to donate more if they wish to amplify our shared goal of uplifting Underserved, Overburdened, Socially Disadvantaged, Low-to-Moderate Income, and Distressed communities in Arkansas. While we encourage every member to engage actively, membership does not grant any individual or organization the ability to influence the Chamber’s guiding mission. Our focus remains on serving the needs and well-being of Underserved, Overburdened, Socially Disadvantaged, Low-to-Moderate Income, and Distressed communities in Arkansas.
